WARMING AND COOLING CENTERS

Warming and cooling centers have been established with the assistance of the Fire and Police Departments. Warming and cooling centers have been developed to provide a safe and comfortable environment for the elderly, very young and those residents who are medically compromised during inclement weather.


Warming /Cooling Centers

The Village has designated two areas as warming/cooling centers.  The Primary warming/cooling Center is the Public Safety Building located at 7420 Fullerton Avenue (708) 453-2137.  The Secondary warming/cooling center will be the Elmwood Park Parks and Recreation building located at 2 Conti Parkway (708) 452-3935.
