The
Village of Elmwood Park is pleased to welcome you to the Family
Aquatic Center.
The Water Park offers a zero depth edge, a Children's Water Play
area containing bubbling geysers, and a mushroom shower. The Water
Park also features a water slide, a large area for tanning, and a
full service concession stand.

June 7 - September 1
Weekdays:
Open Swim: 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Family Swim: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
(children must be accompanied by an adult)
Weekends:
Saturdays
Open Swim: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Family Swim: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Sundays
Open Swim: 12 Noon to 5:00 p.m.
Family Swim: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Water Slide Rules
- You must be 40" tall and be able to swim one width of the
pool.
- You must enter and exit flume feet first.
- Only one person sliding at a time.
- No stopping or standing in flume.
- No diving from the end of the flume.
- Metal objects, jewelry, chains, watches are not permitted on
slide.
- No pregnant women allowed on the slide.
- No glasses or sunglasses on the slide.
- No running on stairs or around pool deck.
- No food, drinks or smoking permitted in pool or slide area.
Safety And Health Regulations
- All water park patrons must familiarize themselves with the
regulations as posted.
- All patrons must wear a swim suit. Cut-offs and gym shorts are
not permitted. T-shirts are not to be worn in the water.
- Admission to the pool may be refused to any person having any
contagious (or infectious) condition or disease.
- Children under the age of seven (7) must be accompanied by a
paying adult, age 18 years or older.
- No food, drink, gum or tobacco allowed in Water Park.
- Diving is not permitted at any time.
- No shoes are permitted at any time.
- Eating or drinking is allowed in the concession area only.
- A cleansing shower is required by state code before entering
the Water Park.
- Diapers are never to be worn in the water. (State of Illinois
Health Code.)
- Strollers are not allowed in the Water Park.
- Inflatable devices are not allowed in the Water Park,
including, but not limited to, water wings, inner tubes,
floaties, etc.
- Running, boisterous, or rough play is not allowed.
- The public address system is for official use only.
- Persons violating any Water Park rules whether written or oral
will be subject to eviction or other disciplinary action.
- Management is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
- The management retains the right to alter current regulations,
and enforce new rules as necessary. Should you require an
exception to any pool regulation, see Pool Manager.
- All other state and local health rules apply.
- If you see these safety and health regulations not being
enforced, contact the Pool Manager or call the Recreation Center
at 708-452-3935.
- No one is allowed to loiter in the locker room.
SUNTAN LOTION:
Suntan lotion will be admitted in the Water Park in a plastic
bag. In an effort to prevent additional safety hazards, lotion may
be applied in the locker room or any grassy area only. Any lotion
left on the deck will be removed.
Unscheduled Closing Of The Water Park
The Pool Manager shall, under the following conditions, be
authorized to close the Water Park when
- Air temperature falls below 68 degrees.
- There is lightning and/or thunder in the area. If these
conditions prevail for 30 minute periods and there is no sign of
clearing weather, the Water Park shall be closed.
- There are 20 or less swimmers in the Water Park. This condition
would prevail if the weather is such that it may tend to discourage
additional persons from swimming.
- Refunds will not be given for inclement weather.
Water Park Season Pass
Water Park Season Pass Policies/Procedures
Season passes go on sale April 19th at the Elmwood Park
Recreation Center, 2 Conti Parkway. Season passes are available for
purchase at the Recreation Center only.
- A Resident Household Pass may consist of a mother, father, and
two (2) dependent children under the age of 18 and residing in
the same household. No nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts, uncles,
grandchildren, grandparents will be allowed on the pass. Passes
are for the exclusive use by the person to whom the pass has
been assigned. PROOF OF RESIDENCY FOR EVERY MEMBER OF YOUR
FAMILY MUST BE PROVIDED BY EITHER A BIRTH CERTIFICATE, SCHOOL
REPORT CARD, OR IRS FORM 1040. The Village of Elmwood Park
reserves the right to request additional identification for
proof of age or residential status.
- Water Park season passes must be displayed for entry to the
water park.
- All lost Water Park season passes can be replaced at a cost of
$25.00. Replacement passes are available at the Recreation
Center.
- No refunds will be given on season passes for any reason after
the opening day of the Water Park.
How To Purchase A Water Park Season Pass
- In-person registration is required for all Water Park pass
sales. Each individual family member will need a photo/Taken at
the time of registration, so all family members should sign up
for their Water Park pass at the same time if possible.
- Complete the attached registration form and bring it with you.
Payment may be made in the form of cash, check or Visa / Master
Card. If you are writing a check, it should be made payable to
the Village of Elmwood Park.
- Be sure to indicate the type of pass you are purchasing and
provide the appropriate family information.
- Have proof of residency ready for every member of your family
when you come in to register. If you are unsure about residency,
please call us at 708-452-3935 to avoid any confusion prior to
registration.
- Families with over five (5) members will require birth
certificates.
- Your photo will be taken and one for each of your family
members.
- After payment is made, you will be issued your new photo ID
pool pass(es).

Water Park Resident Card
Water Park Resident Cards are available at the Recreation Center.
To receive a card you must show proof of residency for each person
who wishes to receive a card. The card is FREE and will be accepted
as proof of residency at the Elmwood Park Water Park only.
Daily Admission
Persons not purchasing a season pass may still use the Water
Park, but will be charged daily admission fees. Children under the
age of two (2) enter free when accompanied by an adult age 18 and
older. To receive the resident rate, you must provide proof of
residency upon admission (e.g. Driver's License, School ID or Water
Park Resident Card). Residents without picture ID will be charged
non‑resident fee.
DAILY FEES:
Youth (3-17 yrs.) $7.00
Adult (18-61 yrs.) $10.00
Sr. Adult (62 yrs. & up) $5.00
ALL NON-RESIDENTS* $15.00
No refunds are issued due to inclement weather.
*Non-resident day is every Wednesday.
Water Park Rentals
The Water Park will offer two rental options. The options are
as follows:
Option 1: Private - The Park can be rented during hours
when the the pool is not open to the public or giving lessons. After
8:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday are
available. Sunday mornings before 12:00 noon can also be scheduled.
Residents Only
Fee: $200.00 Per Hour
Option 2: Semi-Private - This rental is offered every day
during regular pool hours. Residents Only
Fee: $100.00 Per Hour
A private roped off area is provided for your group.
Both rental options require a $25.00 refundable deposit at the time
of bookings. You will be required to pay the amount of the rental
seven (7) days prior to the date. In the event of bad weather, you
may reschedule a date (if possible) or receive a full refund. Food
arrangements must be made with the Water Park Manager prior to the
rental.
